Aunt Susan’s Closet hand knits designer dish towels. When I say designer I mean I’ve never seen designs like these. In a variety of colors, but today I chose to show the Yellow, as it stands for LOVE, and so bright and cheery for the kitchen!
The price point on these? Good enough for gift ideas or stocking stuffers at the holidays, you can snatch them up for about $8 each. I would love to make a kitchen basket for someone and include some of these.

AZ Craze Marketplace for Handmade Vintage Supplies
In 2015 I wrote an article about AZ Craze, they were a newer marketplace for listing handmade, vintage and craft supplies. Much like Etsy they keep their fees low. They offer two different plans, a flat $5/month or 5% commission on sales. Nice! One of the reasons Etsy became so big so fast, is their low fees which attracted sellers who were tired of paying big Ebay fees, etc.
Now this website was acquired by Etsy. WOW. This post has been updated.
Etsy is still where it’s at. NICE.
Previously they told me ” Az Craze started as an idea in the summer of 2010 after the founders got tired of paying high prices and fees to sell crafts and other products online. So we set out to create a company that would be able to offer a fair price to all sellers and that would not favor sellers that may be willing/able to pay more to be a “featured” seller.”
Their motto: “No matter how small, EVERY business matters & should get the opportunity to thrive”.
Find out more here AZCraze.com which is now Etsy.com.
Nice. Maybe I should start a marketplace and sell to Etsy?

Lia Dia Designs created this absolutely stunning henna canvas art on Etsy. It’s $65 on sale, and so creatively done. Note the details up close show that’s it carefully raised off the canvas …. nothing like a little colorful “love” in your life. In this case, in purple.
Up close and personal: Nadia from Lia Dia Designs takes pride in her work.
When we asked shop owner Nadia what her passion was, “The ancient art of henna design has always fascinated me, and many times I would catch myself doodling in a henna/mehndi style…so when I decided to start crafting for my ETSY store, my concept was to take inspiration from traditional henna design and modernize it with colors, crystals and new applications besides body art.”
We originally found this shop from her wedding toppers found on Design Swag.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors, for it’s the color of a rubber duck. However, this yellow ducky is not rubber at all, but instead, it’s a pinata! Made on Etsy by PinataParadise you can acquire it for only $48. Not feeling a duck? Try any animals at all, they have elephants, storks, ladybugs, hot air balloons and more! Handmade from layers of paper mache, this is a fun and entertaining gift for any party !

Update: as of May 2017 this store is no longer on Etsy, links have been removed, but this is just a great example of the cute things you can find on Etsy!
Now you can get elastic hair ties to match any color of your wardrobe. We love these ruby reds by Knotisms on Etsy, only $5.99. Shop owner is Rachel and she’s from Jupiter. Florida. She says, “Creating things is my hobby, I love trying to figure out how to make something and the practice-makes-perfect aspect of it. Also, for some reason, I seem to really enjoy the business part of owning a shop. “
Rachel says she’ll be taking her business with her to college in the fall. After all, it’s so small it could fit in a bookbag now couldn’t it? Rachel says, “I love these little hair ties because they can tame wild hair (like mine) and because I get to play around with the colors from all the beautiful things that I see in the world around me.”
We have to agree. The color is wonderful! She has many colors in stock!
